Анотація

Із верхньокампанських та нижньомаастрихтських відкладів (сидорівська та коноплянівська світи, відповідно) Північного Донбасу описано два морфотипи копролітів, які відрізняються від багатьох інших копролітів крейдових хребетних порівняно великими розмірами. Відсутність спіральних борозен на поверхні та спірального візерунку на поперечному зламі більш повно збереженого копроліту дозволяє виключити хрящових риб зі списку його потенційних продуцентів. Від більшості копролітів крокодилів описані іхнофосилії відрізняється формою. Ймовірно, копроліти з Північного Донбасу належать морським рептиліям, таким як мозазавриди.
